To date 106 elected leaders from around the state — including Dalton City Councilman Tyree Goodlett — have endorsed former House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams in her campaign for governor of Georgia. These elected officials include current and former mayors, city council members, school board members and county commissioners and represent towns across the state.
“Stacey Abrams has unparallelled experience fighting to improve the lives of Georgians as a former deputy city attorney, legislator, entrepreneur and nonprofit leader,” Goodett said. “I am endorsing Leader Abrams today because I know she is the most qualified candidate in the race to foster prosperity for every community in our state."
Abrams is running as a Democrat.
