Coahulla Creek High School has hired a new head football coach, and he's a familiar face.
Danny Wilson, the team's defensive coordinator for the past three years, is taking over for coach Caleb Bagley, who stepped down last month to spend more time with his family.
Coahulla Creek Principal Tracy Mardis said he's excited about the familiarity Wilson brings to the program.
"It will be a great transition for him," Mardis said. "He'll be able to continue to do the work that we've been about."
Bagley led the Colts for the past three seasons, finishing with a record of 3-27. The team finished 2-8 this past season with wins over Ringgold and Southeast Whitfield.
