The Whitfield County Avenue of Flags will be posted on Friday at 7 a.m. and retrieved at 5 p.m. at the Whitfield County Courthouse in honor of National POW/MIA Recognition Day, which falls on the third Friday in September, as Dalton honors those war victims who are still unaccounted for.
