Timothy Roach of Dalton earned a law degree (Juris Doctor, the professional-level degree required to become a lawyer) from the Georgia State University College of Law. The university honored graduates in May, and officially conferred law degrees in late June. More than 4,000 students earned degrees at the associates, bachelors, masters, professional, specialist and doctoral degree levels during the spring 2019 semester.

To qualify for the dean's list, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework.
