The Stephen Busie Band and Connor Priest kick off the Murray Arts Council's 2019 "Concerts in the Park" series at the Chatsworth City Park Stage on Saturday at 7 p.m.

The Stephen Busie Band, who was featured in this year's Riverbend lineup (Chattanooga), is influenced by great musicians like John Mayer, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Ray Charles. They play a variety of cover songs and their own tunes.

Priest is a student at Murray County High School. He is playing gigs throughout the region.

Admission is free. The concert series is sponsored by Mohawk Industries. Food from the Emery Street Market and snocones and sweets from Angie's Sugar Shack will be on sale at the park. For more information, visit murray-arts.com.
