The Creative Arts Guild's next culinary arts class features cooking with sheet pans.
Why sheet pans?
Think quick, easy, and practically no cleanup involved. You'll learn about the sheet-pan cooking craze at this class. These pans are basically rimmed baking sheets that can be used for anything from baking cookies to roasting vegetables.
The genius behind this oven-baked spin on one-pot cooking is that it can make for simple prep, cook and cleanup. And all of that's true -- as long as you keep some basic tips in mind. This cooking method is great for making easy, healthy dinners on the weeknights when there is no time and everyone comes home hungry. When you have a bit more time, the sheet pan culinary canvas can expand into an elegant and more complex meal.
The class (reserved for adults 18 and up) is Tuesday, Aug. 13, and Tuesday, Aug. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. The class is $50 per participant. All materials and food are included. Class size is limited to 12. To register or for more information about this or upcoming Creative Arts Guild culinary classes, call (706) 529-3442.
