Whitfield County Sheriff Scott Chitwood spoke to the New Hope Middle School TIE Club -- which stands for "Together in Excellence" -- on Thursday about the importance of keeping a good reputation, doing the right thing and striving to be the best that you can be. The club's goal is to build character by fostering qualities such as trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship and have the young men to "look good, do good and feel good" in their ties.
