• Brandon Jamel Bryant, 23, 4718 Brentwood Drive, Chattanooga, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft of an automobile.

• Chizoba Christy Ejiofor, 28, 772 McGee Place, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with aggravated identity fraud.

• Christopher William Gray, 33, 3320 Hurricane Road, Rocky Face, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth with the intent to distribute, possession of meth and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

• David Daniel Mantooth, 35, 520 Tunnel Hill Road, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of meth.

• James Christopher Owens, 42, 19 Sunrise Drive, LaFayette, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Evan Tanner Quarles, 21, 383 Bloomington Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony theft by deception, fourth-degree forgery (checks) and conspiracy to commit a felony.

• Shauntay Lareese Tiller, 32, 438 Morgan Valley Road, Rockmart, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with felony theft by shoplifting, possession of cocaine and giving false information to a law officer.

• Okocha Aham Uchendu, 24, 775 McGee Place, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with aggravated identity fraud.

• Thomas Anthony Parris, 26, 243 Skylark Drive-B, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Georgia State Patrol with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of meth, DUI (drugs), possession of drug-related items, an open container violation and failure to maintain lane.

• Juan Luis Prieto, 37, 711 Northview Drive, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI.

• Raymond Rodriguez, 56, 2595 Atlanta Ave., Riverside, was charged Thursday by the state Department of Public Safety with drugs not in original container, possession of a schedule 2 drug, DUI (drugs), failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, two commercial vehicle driver violations, a commercial driver hours violation and failure to reduce speed when passing a stationary emergency, towing or maintenance vehicle.

• Paul Wayne Stapleton, 39, 603 Jones St.-2, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with battery (family violence), affray (fighting), disorderly conduct and false imprisonment.
