Henry Teel, president and CEO of First Georgia Banking Co., recently announced the addition of nine bank officers.

Teel, who has lived in Dalton for five years, earned a degree in commerce and business administration from the University of Alabama. He received an MBA from Samford University. Teel has 30 years experience in the banking industry. He and his wife Elaine are members of the First Methodist Church of Dalton. They have a son, David, and a daughter, Elizabeth.

Greg Parsons is the assistant vice president for commercial lending. Parsons is a graduate of Southeast High School and received a finance degree from Union University in Jackson, Tenn. He has six years experience in the banking industry. He and his wife Cassie have a son, Marcus, and reside in Dug Gap. They are members of Temple Baptist Church.

Pam Garland is a senior vice president. Garland, a Dalton native, is a graduate of North Whitfield High School and received a business administration degree from Dalton State College. She has worked in the banking industry for 24 years. Garland and her husband Steve are members of Grove Level Baptist Church and reside in Pleasant Grove. They have a daughter, Lacey.

Dorothy “Dot” Babb has been named banking officer/ customer service representative. She is a lifelong resident of Dalton and graduated from Valley Point High School. Babb has several years of experience in the banking industry. She and her husband Donald have a daughter, Suzanne Sosebee, and a granddaughter, Sydney. Babb is a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

Marybeth Meadows has been named executive vice president/ senior commercial lender. She has lived in the Dalton area for more than 30 years, graduating from Northwest Whitfield High School in 1986. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 1990 with a degree in social science education. She is currently enrolled in the MBA program with the University of Phoenix. Meadows has been in the banking industry for more than 18 years. She and her husband Jeff have six children: Allison, Sydney and Nick Wagner and J.T., Jillie and Jessica Meadows. Meadows is a member of Dalton Evangelical Methodist Church.

Tammie Morgan Dillard has been named assistant vice president. She has been in the banking industry for more than 16 years and has two associates degrees from Dalton State College in management and business administration. Dillard has three sons, Reed, James and Justin. She and her husband Brady have lived in Ringgold for the past 11 years.

Cheryl Teasley is vice president/ branch manager. She has lived in the Dalton area for more than 30 years. She is a graduate of Dalton High School and the University of Tennessee where she earned a finance degree. Teasley has been in the banking industry for more than 17 years. She and her husband J.R. have a daughter, Katelyn. Teasley attends Grove Level Baptist Church.

Michael Williams has been named mortgage originator/ banking officer. He was born and raised in Whitfield County and now lives in Calhoun. He is a graduate of Southeast High School and graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in marketing. He has been in the banking industry for more than a year. He attends Newtown Baptist Church in Calhoun and Dalton Church of God.

Nellie Williams is assistant vice president and executive assistant. She was born in Baxley County and graduated from Appling County High School. Williams has lived in Whitfield County for 24 years. She has 24 years of experience in the banking industry. WIlliams and her husband John have six children and 11 grandchildren. She attends Maple Grove Baptist Church.
