I would like to introduce you to Maranda Davenport. She is not only a patron of our library but a mother of three beautiful kids: Luke, Makayla and Aubrey. Last Thursday, Maranda and her kids were at the Dalton-Whitfield County Public Library for our Play @ the Library program. While the kids played Maranda was nice enough to answer some questions for us.

Question: How do you use the library?

Maranda: I use the library to check out books and videos for my entire family. My kids participate in the programs, which are very educational. I participate in the adult craft class every Thursday evening.

Q: What do you like most about visiting the library?

Maranda: The library offers books and programs for all ages. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Q: Why is the library important to you?

Maranda: The library is important to me because it offers educational programs for all ages. It is a way to increase knowledge and skills.

Q: What is your favorite book of all time?

Maranda: "Redeeming Love" by Francine Rivers.

Maranda and her family are really taking advantage of all the library has to offer. I love it. Don’t forget summer reading has started and we have so many things planned for you.

To view our upcoming events and to learn more about what the library has to offer this summer, visit www.ngrl.org or Facebook.com/DaltonWhitfieldLibrary. Thank you for reading, and I hope to see you at the library soon!
