Area Arrests for Jan. 7

• Alisha Marie Nicholson, 32, 1099 Norton Bridge Road-Unit J, Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Murray County Sheriff's Office with parole violation and possession of meth.

• Brian Dakota Bell, 26, 1212 Applewood Drive-3, Dalton, was charged Saturday by state probation with felony probation violation.

• Robert Edward Clingan, 49, 190 Keller Road, Rossville, was charged Saturday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with simple assault, possession of a schedule 2 drug and drugs not in original container.

• Matthew Kimball Miller, 34, 904 Beaverdale Road N.E., Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff's Office with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, battery (family violence) and cruelty to children.

• Eric Puentes, 33, 2611 S. Dixie Highway-3, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff's Office with sexual battery.

• Michael Erwin Brown Sr., 60, 710 Cavender Road S.E., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff's Office with burglary (forced entry, dwelling), possession of meth and possession and use of drug-related objects.

• Cameron Lee Sneed, 40, 536 Walker Road, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the the Murray County Sheriff's Office with felony failure to appear.

• Ashley Morgan Springfield, 28, 371 E. Randall Road, Rocky Face, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff's Office with possession of a schedule 4 drug, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession and use of drug-related objects.

• Jonathon Garrett Wright, 25, 374 Dailey Hill Road, Ringgold, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff's Office with DUI, open container violation, failure to maintain lane, operating a motor vehicle with suspended, revoked or canceled registration and driver to exercise due care violation/proper use of phones and radios.

• Vidal Bismarck Robles, 27, 259 Ponders Drive S.E., Dalton, was charged Monday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI and failure to maintain lane.
