Area Arrests for Nov. 23

• Christopher Chad Allen, 37, 324 New Hope Road-27, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff's Office with felony failure to appear and misdemeanor failure to appear.

• Ernesto Gembe-Estrada, 38, 139 Walking Horse Lane, Tunnel Hill, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff's Office with DUI, failure to maintain lane and driving with a suspended or revoked license.

• Carlos Daniel Ponce-Fraire, 17, 301 Robinwood Drive, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff's Office with DUI (controlled substance) and failure to maintain lane.

• Diana Quijano, 19, 1300 Lida St., Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff's Office with hindering the apprehension or punishment of a criminal and providing a false statement/writing or concealing facts from the government.

• Hector Alfredo Silva, 24, 2459 S. Riverbend Road, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Cohutta Police Department with armed robbery (residence, gun), aggravated assault (gun), aggravated battery (gun), misdemeanor theft of services, felony attempt or conspiracy to violate the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, felony probation violation, criminal attempt to commit a felony, a violation of the state gang law, driving with a suspended or revoked license and failure to stop at a stop sign.

• Christopher Eugene Stokes, 47, 825 Beirut Place-16, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with false imprisonment and simple assault.

• Israel Beltran-Guangorena, 30, 20 Misty Ridge, Chatsworth was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff's Office with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• Kenton Dale McClain, 47, 1308 Phillips Drive, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with felony probation violation.

• Jesus Rodriguez, 24, 605 Bud Holland Road, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and failure to yield while turning left.
