Four people are vying for two posts on the Cohutta Town Council in November.

Qualifying for the nonpartisan election ended Friday with incumbents J. Shane Kornberg and Shelia Rose qualifying for reelection. They were joined by Nicholas Conner, who is the town's representative on the 2020 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) advisory committee, and by former Cohutta police chief Andy Lopez.

The two candidates with the most votes among those four will be elected to the council.
