Murray County Environmental Health conducts inspections of restaurants and other food establishments. The inspectors may require a re-inspection. Restaurants and other food establishments are required by law to post their most recent inspection permit. Food employee observed putting on gloves to prepare an order without first washing hands. Hands must be washed before preparing food. No health policy or employee knowledge of reporting illness available. No paper towels available at either hand sink. All hand sinks must be supplied with paper towels and soap at all times. Sanitizer solution in cloth buckets too weak. Must maintain at 200 parts per million. Prep top cooler in disrepair and food is out of temperature; repeat violation. All temperature controlled food must be stored and maintained at 41 degrees or below at all times. Pesticide cans observed; only licensed exterminators may treat establishment. Gloves were not removed after employee used them to crack raw eggs. She then proceeded to handle multiple utensils, creating contamination. Gloves must be removed after touching/handling raw animal products or unclean surfaces. Large number of flies observed and back door must be repaired to close fully and not allow pests into establishment.
