The following pleas were heard in Whitfield County Superior Court on Thursday:

• Sheena Lalonda Asbeury, 3402 Reed Road, Varnell, pleaded guilty to theft by taking. She was sentenced to 12 months of probation, ordered to pay a $300 fine plus court costs and surcharges, must perform 40 hours of community service and must complete an alternative behavior course. Asbeury was also ordered to pay $300 in restitution to The Shoe Department in Dalton.

• James Harold Dailey, 1234 Beaverdale Cut-Off, Dalton, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute. Judge Cindy Morris scheduled sentencing for March 21.

• Victor Jose Jose, 2212 S. Dixie Highway, Dalton, pleaded guilty to DUI and driving without a license. He was sentenced to two days in jail, 11 months and 28 days of probation, ordered to pay a $400 fine plus court costs and surcharges, must perform 40 hours of community service and must attend DUI school.

The following pleas were heard in Whitfield County Superior Court on Wednesday:

• Eric John Critchley, 23, 127 Victoria St., Woodstock, pleaded guilty to theft by taking (motor vehicle). He was sentenced to five years in prison.

• Avery Nicholas Cronan, no address listed, pleaded guilty to simple assault. He was sentenced to 12 months in jail. Prosecutors agreed to drop a charge of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime in exchange for his guilty plea.

• Tracy Charlene Keeler, no address listed, pleaded guilty to drug possession. She was sentenced to 90 days in jail, ordered to serve four years and nine months of probation, must pay a $2,000 fine, complete 300 hours of community service and attend drug and alcohol abuse counseling.

• Jimmy Lee Noblitt, no address listed, pleaded guilty to theft by taking. He was sentenced to 12 months in jail to be followed by seven years of probation. He must also pay a $1,000 fine, perform 200 hours of community service and pay $500 in restitution to Courtesy Dodge. He must also stay away from Courtesy Dodge.

• Selena Rose Ogles, no address listed, pleaded guilty to DUI. She was sentenced to 24 hours in jail, 11 months and 29 days of probation, ordered to pay a $500 fine, must perform 40 hours of community service and must attend DUI school.
