Letter: Newspaper should present both sides

I am just wondering when, and if ever, this newspaper will actually make the effort to tell the truth or at least attempt to inform the readers of this newspaper what is really happening in our world of increasing political bias (which, by the way, it readily appears that it is the direction of this downward spiraling publication).

The question remains if the editors themselves are actually even interested in facts and truth or is their only purpose to spread the progressive liberal pablum of the likes of CNN and their other cronies. The headlines on April 19 were all about what President Trump did to thwart the Mueller investigation. However, the actual fact and the genuine story is this: No collusion, no obstruction and no conspiracy by President Trump or any of his family, associates, or anyone else involved in his campaign. Pretty simple to me.

It matters not to me if you are Republican, Democrat, conservative or liberal. We all have the right to ascribe to whatever system of religious belief or political ideology we choose (sometimes good, and yes, sometimes bad). We also have the right to choose what we read. Do the editors understand this? I sometimes wonder. I would love to wake up every morning and have the local newspaper offering me a fair and balanced reading of what is going on in our nation. Please, I implore you to be worthy of the tremendous obligation you have.
