The Dalton State College men's golf team remained in the top spot Tuesday after the second day of the Southern State Athletic Conference Championship at RTJ at Cambrian Ridge in Greenville, Alabama.

The No. 4-ranked Roadrunnners had another solid day, shooting one stroke better at 286 (-2) than their scored from Monday. This makes their combined score 573 (-3) which is 13 strokes better than second-place William Carey University at 586 (+10).

Dalton State's Ben Rebne remains in first place individually with a score of 138 (-6) after an even round of 72 on Tuesday. Sport Allmond is close behind in second place after shooting one of the best rounds overall on Tuesday. Allmond tied with one other player with a 68 (-4) on the second day of play making his combined score 139 (-5). Matthew Cleary moved up to tied for sixth place Tuesday's round of 70 (-2) to make his overall score 147 (+3).

The Roadrunners look to win the conference in today's final day of the tournament.
