High school girls

Coahulla Creek 81, Murray County 53

Coahulla Creek got 19 points each from Lily Snyder and Kenley Woods while Katelyn Richards pitched in 15 points in the 81-52 home win Tuesday night. For Murray County, Mattie Nuckolls had a team-high 16 points while Jordan Swanson had 13 points.

Northwest Whitfield 70, Ridgeland 22

Autumn Wiley paced Northwest Whitfield with 18 points and 10 rebounds in the home win over Ridgeland, 70-22. Also for the Bruins, Tionna Baker had 10 points while McKenzie Brueckner had eight points and five assists.

Dalton 41, Allatoona 31

Dalton turned back Allatoona at home with a 41-31 win. For the Catamounts, Zoe Dales had eight points, Taylor Thompson had seven points and Janayah Christopher and Kinsley Skiffen both had six points.

High school boys

Northwest Whitfield 81, Ridgeland 41

Eleven Northwest Whitfield players scored in their 81-41 victory over visiting Ridgeland Tuesday night. For the Bruins, Blane Green led the effort with 19 points, Emmanuel Washington had 11 points and Gage Lyon notched eight points. Northwest moved to 2-3 (1-0 Region 6-4A).

Dalton 78, Allatoona 68

Frank Almonte pumped in 34 points and Sam White added 20 points as the Catamounts (4-1, 1-0 Region 6-6A) beat an undefeated Allatoona team at home, 76-68.

Gilmer 58, Southeast Whitfield 55

Southeast lost a close road game to Gilmer, 58-55. For the Raiders, Bryson Waters had 13 points, C.J. Watkins chipped in 11 points and Cal Rich had nine points.

Murray County 50, Coahulla Creek 36

Murray County ran its record to 5-0 (1-0 Region 6-3A) with a road win over Coahulla Creek, 50-36. For the Indians, Carson Weaver had 12 points and Athan Hicks added 10 points. Strong on the glass for Murray County were Hayden Newport (11 rebounds) and Lincoln Puryear (10 rebounds). Coahulla Creek's stats were not reported by the Daily Citizen-News' deadline.
