Northwest fell to Lincoln County in its first game of its Border Wars Tournament on Monday night, 48-41.
Tionna Baker led the Lady Bruins (1-1) with 20 points, six rebounds and six assists. McKenzie Brueckner finished with seven points and four rebounds.
Northwest continues with tournament play at 4:45 p.m. today against Section (Alabama).
North Murray's Mountaineer Classic
East Jackson (boys) 65, North Murray 51
North Murray fell in its first game of its Mountaineer Classic on Monday night to East Jackson, 65-51.
Ty Kendrick led the Mountaineers with 20 points, while Ethan Lederer had 13 points. Noah West finished with 10 points.
North Murray continues play in the tournament today.
Bradley Central (Tennessee, boys) 89, Northwest Whitfield 64
Northwest dropped its first game of the Mountaineer Classic on Monday to Bradley Central, 89-49.
Kooper Pardee led the Bruins (0-2) with 20 points, Will Buckner finished with 16 points.
Northwest plays again in the tournament at 6 p.m. today against East Jackson.
Ridgeland Thanksgiving Tournament
Ridgeland (girls) 63, Murray County 62
Murray County fell in its second game of the Ridgeland Thanksgiving Tournament on Monday to Ridgeland, 63-62.
Jordan Swanson led all scorers with 18 points for the Lady Indians (1-2). Kerra Lowe had 16 points, and Ella Dotson and Natalie O'Neal both finished with 10 points.
Murray County wraps up tournament play with a game against Dade County at 1 p.m. today.
Murray County (boys) 87, Ridgeland 45
Murray County improved its record on Monday with a win over Ridgeland at the Ridgeland Thanksgiving Tournament, 87-45.
Athan Hicks led the Indians (3-0) with 17 points, and Lincoln Puryear had 14 points and seven rebounds. Landon Hansird and Ethan Jackson each finished with 13 points, while Haden Newport added eight points, 11 rebounds and seven assists
Murray County finishes play at the tournament at 2:30 p.m. today against Dade County.
Coahulla Creek (girls) 60, Heritage 42
Coahulla Creek won its second game of the Ridgeland Thanksgiving Tournament against Heritage on Monday, 60-42.
Kenley Woods led the Lady Colts (2-0) with 20 points, while Katelyn Richards added 11 points.
Coahulla Creek plays its final game of the tournament at 4 p.m. today against Ridgeland.
Coahulla Creek (boys) 55, Heritage 39
Coahulla Creek defeated Heritage at the Ridgeland Thanksgiving Tournament on Monday, 55-39.
Gage Seibenhener led the Colts (2-0) with 16 points, while Riley Mutter had 13 points and Barrett Barbre added 10 points.
Coahulla Creek plays its final game of the tournament at 5:30 p.m. today against Ridgeland.
Dalton (boys) 74, Fort Payne (Alabama) 65 at Chattooga
Dalton picked up a win against Fort Payne at Chattooga on Saturday, 74-65.
Frank Almonte had 21 points and 12 rebounds, and Sam White finished with 19 points, to lead the Catamounts (2-1, 1-0 in Region 6-6A).
Dalton hosts Creekview at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Ridgeland Thanksgiving Tournament
Heritage (girls) 54, Murray County 47
Murray County fell in its first game of the Ridgeland Thanksgiving Tournament on Saturday to Heritage, 54-47.
Lowe led the Lady Indians with 16 points, while Dotson finished with 11 and Alyssa Usrey had nine points.
Murray County (boys) 71, Heritage 56
Murray County had five players finish with double-digit points on Saturday as it won its first game of the Ridgeland Thanksgiving Tournament over Heritage, 71-56.
Newport led the team with 19 points and 12 rebounds, while Hicks had 15 points. Puryear finished with 12 points and eight rebounds. Hansird had 11 points and Jackson had 10 points.
Coahulla Creek (girls) 56, Gordon Lee 35
Coahulla Creek won its first game of the Ridgeland Thanksgiving Tournament on Saturday over Gordon Lee, 56-35.
Richards and Woods each had 14 points for the Lady Colts.

Barbre finished with 14 points to lead the Colts, while Seibenhener was close behind with 13 points. Ethan Burse finished with 10 points.
Dalton (boys) 55, River Ridge 44
Dalton coach Ryan Scoggins earned his first win as a head basketball coach on Friday as the Catamounts defeated River Ridge at home, 55-44.
Almonte finished with 22 points and 19 rebounds, while Ashton Blackwell had 17 points and 11 assists. White chipped in eight points.
