High school cross country: Coahulla Creek has two first-place finishers

Coahulla Creek High School had two first-place finishers at the North Georgia Cross Country League Race No. 1 on Saturday at Heritage.

Lane Hollis was the top individual runner in the boys race with a time of 16:44, while Kaylee Bandy was the overall winner in the girls race with a time of 20:19. The Colts' boys teams also finished first out out 17 teams.

Southeast Whitfield boys

The Southeast boys team finished seventh at the race.

Noah Aguilar was the fastest runner for the Raiders with a time of 19:42, placing 25th out of 144 runners. Axel Salacies ran a 19:58 and placed 29th, while Angel Garcia finished in 20:15 and placed 42nd.

Other finishers for the Raiders were Pedro Morales with a time of 20:23, and Mateo Triana with a time of 20:30.
