Coahulla Creek 5, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe 3

Sophia Voyles pitched all seven innings with 10 strikeouts as the Coahulla Creek picked up a win at Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe on Thursday, 5-3.

Voyles also finished 2-for-4 on offense with two doubles and two RBIs for the Lady Colts (9-6, 3-4 in Region 6-3A). Jillian Poe was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, while Tatum Poe had two hits.

Coahulla Creek hosts Southeast Whitfield at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

Calhoun 9, Murray County 4

Murray County fell on the road to Calhoun on Thursday night, 9-4.

Alyssa Usrey finished 3-for-4 with one RBI to lead the Lady Indians (5-13, 0-9 in Region 6-4A). Brooklyn Gonzalez was 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Murray County plays on Saturday at the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Tournament at Jack Mattox Park.

Heritage 9, Northwest Whitfield 0 (five innings)

Northwest fell to Heritage on Thursday night on the road, 9-0.

Shaylen Sutton was 2-for-2 to lead the efforts for the Lady Bruins (17-5, 7-3 in Region 6-4A).

Northwest plays on Saturday at the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Tournament at Jack Mattox Park.

Gordon Lee 14, Christian Heritage 2 (four innings)

Ansley Adkins was 2-for-2 with two RBIs and a triple and also took the loss pitching all four innings for the Lady Lions (9-8, 4-7 in Region 6-A).

Christian Heritage travels to Bowdon at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
