The Lady Indians dropped a home game to Calhoun on Friday night, 73-38. Ella Dotson was Murray County’s leading score with 13 points.

Bowdon 49, Christian Heritage 35

Christian Heritage lost to Bowdon on the road, 49-35. Mary Herndon had seven points for the Lady Lions while Ansley Adkins, Madison Brown and Faith Humphrey also scored.

The Lady Lions are 10-4, 3-2 Region 6-A. They play North Cobb Christian tonight at home at 6.

Coahulla Creek 69, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe 32

The Lady Colts picked up the win over Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe on the road, 69-32. For Coahulla Creek, Kenley Woods paced the team with 14 points while Ema Turner had 13 points and Katelyn Richards scored 12 points.

The Lady Colts moved to 15-2, 8-2 Region 6-3A. They play Ringgold at home today at 3:30 p.m.

North Murray 52, Adairsville 38

The Lady Mountaineers went on the road and defeated Adairsville, 52-38. For North Murray, Bayley Gable and Tenley Gladson each had 10 points while Aubri Blankenship and Korbin Tipton each had nine points.

North Murray is 8-9, 6-2 Region 6-3A. Their game at home today against Haralson has been postponed due to expected inclement weather. It has not yet been rescheduled.

Northwest Whitfield 44, Southeast 33

Northwest Whitfield defeated Southeast Whitfield in Tunnel Hill, 44-33.

Leading the Lady Bruins in scoring was Emma Allen with 13 points. Also, Tionna Baker 12 points, three assists and five steals; McKenzie Brueckner contributed nine points and eight rebounds; and Mikayla Ehlers went for seven points.

For the Lady Raiders, Jurnee Harris had nine points and seven rebounds; Madison Powell had eight points, and eight rebounds; Stephanie Sullivan scored seven points; Lisette Gomez pitched in five points and six rebounds; and Jenna Bennett and Lily Phillips each had six rebounds.

The Lady Bruins are 13-5, 8-1 Region 6-4A. They host LaFayette Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Southeast is 4-15, 1-7 Region 6-4A and plays at Ridgeland Tuesday at 6 p.m.

River Ridge 57, Dalton 26

The Lady Catamounts lost to River Ridge on the road, 57-26. Zoe Dales led the Catamounts with six points while Jasmine Perez had four points and Aaliyah Gash and Kinsley Skiffen each had three points.

Dalton is 5-12, 2-8 Region 6-6A and plays at Allatoona tonight at 5.

Boys

Bowdon 75, Christian Heritage 73

Christian Heritage suffered its first loss of the year, dropping a road game to Bowdon, 75-73.

For the Lions, Drew Clements scored a team-high 24 points; Evan Lester had a double-double with 15 points and 17 rebounds; Nash Bingham had 16 points (including four 3-pointers); William Green had 12 points; and Bryce Farmer had three points and 12 rebounds.

Christian Heritage is now 13-1, 6-1 Region 6-A and takes on North Cobb Christian tonight at home at 7:30.

Dalton 69, River Ridge 59

Dalton’s Frank Almonte had a huge game with 28 points and 21 rebounds to help lead the Catamounts over River Ridge in Woodstock, 69-59. Also for Dalton, Ashton Blackwell scored 16 points, Rhett Hammontree contributed 10 points and Sam Tidwell pitched in nine points.

Dalton is 13-5 region, 7-3 Region 6-6A and plays at Allatoona tonight at 6:30.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe 62, Coahulla Creek 36

On the road, Coahulla Creek lost to Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, 62-36.

The Colts play Ringgold at home today at 4:30 p.m.

Murray County 58, Calhoun 55

The Indians won at home over Calhoun, 58-55. For Murray County, Haden Newport had a solid all-around game with 14 points, eight rebounds and four assists while Athan Hicks scored 10 points.

North Murray squeezed out a close win over Adairsville, 49-47, on the road. Leading the Mountaineers were Ty Kendrick with 13 points and Landon Burrell with 12 points.

Northwest Whitfield downed Southeast Whitfield in Tunnel Hill, 84-32.

For the Bruins, Blane Greene had 19 points, Kooper Pardee went for 14 points, Gage Lyon had 12 points, Jack Brock scored 10 points and Chandler Jackson chipped in nine points.

For the Raiders, Victor Arrellin had 11 points and 15 rebounds while Cal Rich went for seven points and 12 rebounds.

The Bruins are 10-9, 7-1 Region 6-4A. They host LaFayette Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
