Due to the uncertainty of weather conditions caused by the arrival of Hurricane Florence on the East Coast, Georgia’s game against Middle Tennessee on Saturday has been moved from a 7:15 p.m. kickoff to noon, Georgia announced Thursday.
Georgia said its decision is in consideration involving including fans, support staff and law enforcement. The game will be televised on ESPN News and will stream live on the ESPN app.
Georgia is one of many schools along the East Coast changing their gameday plans. For example, Clemson and Georgia Southern were set to play at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday but have since moved their kickoff to noon.
